(Energy Analytics Institute, 4.Jan.2021) — Houston-based United Airlines announced plans to cut its greenhouse gas emissions.
“We are going 100% green by 2050 by reducing our greenhouse gas emissions 100%,” United said in a corporate video posted on Twitter. “See how we’re making sustainability the new standard in flight.”
“The only way to really solve the climate change problem is through sustainable fuels and carbon sequestration,” United CEO Scott Kirby said in the video.
