Colombia’s state oil company Ecopetrol plans to release financial and operating results for the third quarter of 2020 on 27 October 2020, after the market closes.
Ecopetrol Eyes Investments Of $3.4bn In 2020
Amid continued security issues in Colombia, Ecopetrol maintains the country as its first priority, CEO Felipe Bayon said 22 September 2020 during a virtual interview with ACIPET. Further plans consist of flaring less gas and instead utilizing more of the gas that was once wasted.
Ecopetrol’s capital expenditures for 2020 are expected to come in around $3.4bn while the company expects to start production activities offshore Brazil at the Gato de Mato development sometime in 2021, Bayon said.
