(Energy Analytics Institute, Jared Yamin, 30.May.2020) — Gastech 2020 will now take place virtually, from 7-11 September 2020, with strategic and technical conference content streamed online, enabling the natural gas, LNG and energy industries opportunity to engage with a series of interactive conference sessions, as it adapts and responds to the collective challenges and opportunities the industry faces, organizers said.
Additionally, DMG Events along with the Gastech Governing Body, and in consultation with partners, Enterprise Singapore, the Singapore Tourism Board and key stakeholders, have taken the decision to postpone Gastech 2020 to 13-16 September 2021.
“We have made this collective decision based on the current global pandemic and concerns over accessibility and of course the wellbeing of our speakers, delegates, exhibitors and visitors,” DMG said in an official statement last week. “The postponement of Gastech gives the Gas, LNG and wider Energy industries the opportunity to assess the impact of COVID-19 on energy demand and identify market growth opportunities.”
