(Energy Analytics Institute, Jared Yamin, 20.Mar.2020) — Mexico’s National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH) announced updates on three resolutions affecting Total E&P México, S.A. de C.V., Servicios Múltiples de Burgos, S.A. de C.V., and the first stage of the development plan for the extraction of contract CNH-R01-L02-A2 / 2015.

The CNH decided on the early termination procedure by waiving the entire contractual area, presented by Total E&P México, S.A. de C.V. and on the conventional penalty for non-compliance with the minimum work program regarding the exploration and extraction contract, CNH-R01-L04-A2.CPP / 2016.

The CNH decided on the procedure for early termination by resignation of a part of the contract area, presented by Servicios Múltiples de Burgos, S.A. de C.V. regarding the contract for the exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons, CNH-M3-MISIÓN / 2018.

And lastly, the CNH decided on the hydrocarbon delivery and reception procedures related to the first stage of the development plan for the extraction of the contract CNH-R01-L02-A2 / 2015.
