(Energy Analytics Institute, Aaron Simonsky, 11.Dec.2018) — Echo Energy plc announced mobilization of equipment to acquire 1,200 km2 of3D seismic on the company’s high impact Tapi Aike exploration acreage from Neuquén Province by the seismic contractor UGA is due to commence imminently.
The seismic acquisition program, expected to last approximately 4 months, will follow once all equipment has arrived on site and parameter testing is completed early in 2019, the company announced in an official statement on its website.
Echo believes that the Tapi Aike license offers a compelling multi trillion cubic feet (Tcf) exploration proposition. Following completion of the upcoming seismic acquisition program and subsequent data interpretation,the company expects to define an initial four well exploration drilling program with each well estimated to cost between $2 million and $5 million net to Echo.
