PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 4.Mar.2025) — Colombia’s state-owned Ecopetrol reported average crude oil and natural gas production of 746,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) in 2024, up 1.2% compared to 737,000 boe/d in 2023.
In the midstream space, Ecopetrol surpassed its target with transported volumes of 1,119,000 b/d while in the downstream space Ecopetrol completed the annual plan of plant shutdowns and major maintenances, achieving a refining throughput of 414,000 b/d, highlighting an operational availability of 94.5%, the company announced 4 Mar. 2025 in its year-end 2024 financial press release.
