HOUSTON, TEXAS (By Ian Silverman, Energy Analytics Institiute, 2.Jul.2024, Words: 108) — SLB and ChampionX have each received a request for additional information, a second request, from the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) in connection with the agency’s review of SLB’s earlier announced plans to acquired ChampionX.
SLB expects the transaction to close in the fourth quarter of 2024 or the first quarter of 2025, pending regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions, SLB said 2 July 2024 in an official statement.
