(Energy Analytics Institute, 3.Aug.2020) — Bolivia’s state oil and gas entity Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB) continues with efforts to keep the cities of La Paz and El Alto supplied with liquefied petroleum gas or LPG, despite the existence of blockades in some areas, and called in force by some social organizations.

YPFB reported production at the Senkata plant has doubled, the state oil giant announced 3 August 2020 in an official statement.

The National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH) verified the details related to production from the El Alto located Senkata plant, and confirmed presence of a permanent stock of LPG in carafes.
