(Energy Analytics Institute, 29.Jul.2020) — PetroAmazonas EP will reduce its work capacity by 30% in Block 43–ITT (Ishpingo, Tambococha, Tiputini), located in Orellana province, for 45 days.
The decision was made to preserve the health of employees and collaborators during the Covid-19 pandemic, PetroAmazonas General Manager Juan Carlos Bermeo Calderón stated in an official company statement.
Currently, Block 43-ITT produces more than 60,000 barrels per day, which represents around 15% of the company’s total production.
