— Bolivia’s ammonia and urea plant has sold 26,490 tons into the domestic mkt in Iess than 4 mths, generating economic income of more than $14.38mn, state owned YPFB announced 6 Jan 2022 over social media. Internationally, Bolivia’s urea production has gained mkt shr in Brazil, Argentina and Peru in less than 4 mths. More than 60,000 tons has been commercialized during the timeframe, generating income of more than $37.22mn.

Chile

— In 2021, more than 6,600MW of renewable, solar and wind energy were built and went into operation in Chile, the country’s Energy Ministry announced 6 Jan. 2022 over Instagram, adding the figures were equivalent to everything that has been built in its history.

— ENAP’s Posesión Plant is currently working at a rate of 4.5 MMcm/d and is expected to reach a level of 7.2 MMcm/d, the co. said 6 Jan. 2022 over Instagram w/o providing a timeframe for the latter figure.

Ecuador

— EP PetroEcuador lifted a force majeure announced in early Dec. 2021 after completing work on bypasses to the Trans-Ecuadorian Pipeline System (SOTE) and the Shushufindi-Quito Products Pipeline in Napo province, the co.’s General Manager Italo Cedeño confirmed 6 Jan. 2022 over social media. “We have resumed crude export loads… and will export 720,000 bbls of Napo crude and a similar figure for Oriente crude,” Cedeño said.
