(Energy Analytics Institute, 23.Nov.2020) — Peru’s hydrocarbon sector is on the verge of collapse due to the fall in the price of oil, the Covid-19 pandemic and persistent conflicts impacting the hydrocarbon sector in the country’s northern jungle region, warned Pablo de la Flor, executive director of Peru’s National Society of Mining, Petroleum, and Energy (SNMPE by its Spanish acronym).
