Mato Grosso, which borders Bolivia, is the third largest state in Brazil, and has a population of 3.3 million inhabitants. The state’s economy is driven by extractive industry (wood, rubber), agriculture (sugar cane, soybeans, rice, corn), livestock, mining (limestone and gold); metallurgical; and food industry, reported online media La Razón.
