(Petrobras, 10.Aug.2023) — Petrobras, in relation to the news released in the media, clarifies that there is no decision by the competent bodies in the company to acquire any participation in the fuel distribution market. The company also informs that at the present time it does not conduct analysis on entry into the fuel distribution market, and therefore has no opinion on the fair value of companies operating in this segment.
The company also clarifies that any acquisitions should, within the governance established at Petrobras, go through the planning and approval processes provided for in the applicable systems, having their technical and economic viability demonstrated.
