(Ecopetrol, 30.Jun.2023) — Ecopetrol S.A. (BVC: ECOPETROL; NYSE: EC) appointed Germán González Reyes as acting Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Secretary General, effective from 5 July 2023 and until the appointment of a new Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Secretary General.
Germán González Reyes is a lawyer with a specialization in Socioeconomics from Universidad Javeriana and a specialist in International Transportation Law from Universidad Externado de Colombia. He has over thirty years of professional experience, including working in legal advisory firms and holding strategic positions in oil & gas, telecommunications, potable water, and basic sanitation companies. He has also served as Vice Minister of Communications for the Republic of Colombia. Since 2017, he has been the Manager of Legal Management in the Legal Vice-Presidency of Ecopetrol S.A.
