(Energy Analytics Institute, 8.Oct.2020) — Venezuela’s state oil company Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) has reportedly restarted the PetroPiar and Sinovensa blending units, according to reports from local Venezuelan media El Nacional.

The first joint venture, PetroPiar, which partners PDVSA and Chevron Corp., is reportedly producing 115,000 barrels per day (b/d), while the second venture, Sinovensa, which partners PDVSA and China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC), is producing 158,000 b/d, the media reported on 8 October 2020.
