Rowan Announces Trinidad Contract For Joe Douglas

(Energy Analytics Institute, Piero Stewart, 24.Dec.2018) — Rowan Companies plc, with a fleet that operates worldwide, including the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, the UK and Norwegian sectors of the North Sea, the Middle East, the Mediterranean Sea, and Trinidad, announced that BP in Trinidad has exercised a two-well option with the Joe Douglas immediately following the current well.

These exercised option wells are expected to last until approximately May 2019. The Joe Douglas, a 240-C Class harsh environment jack-up rig, has also received one more two-well option, Rowan announced in official statement.
